According to him, these cement plants will be built in the provinces of Bengo, Benguela and Luanda.

"Palanca Cimentos" project is estimated at USD 430 million and is a joint venture involving Gema Group (Angola), Escom (Portugal) and Camargo Correa (Brazil).

The construction works of the factories will start within four months (November 2010) and they will last 36 months.

The ceremony was attended by the chairman of ANIP, Aguinaldo Jaime, Escom, Hélder Bataglia and Gema Group, José Leitão, by the deputy governor of Benguela, Agostinho Felizardo, among other figures.
